PMgr Sr Haji Ishak bin Ismail

President

Sr Haji Ishak bin Ismail is the Founder and Managing Director of IM Global Property Consultants Sdn Bhd. He has been in real estate practice since 1991. In 2015, he has been accredited as an International Certified Valuation Specialist or Business Valuer by the International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts (IACVA). He obtained his Master in Business Administration (MBA) from International Islamic University, Malaysia in 2006. He has more than 27 years of experience in consultancy services including valuation, estate agency, project management, auction and property training. He has received an excellent award and the Property Manager of the Year from the BOVEAP.

YBhg. Datuk Sr Hj. Kamarulzaman Bin Mat Salleh

MIPFM President 2021 - 2023 (Immediate Past President)

Datuk Sr Haji Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh is a Mayor of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). He is a Fellow Member of Malaysian Institute of Property and Facility Managers (MIPFM), Royal Institute of Surveyor (FRISM) and a Registered Property Managers (BOVEAP) and hold Certification as Mediator at the Bar Council Malaysian Mediation Centre. Datuk Sr Haji Kamarulzaman has more than 30 years of experience in Valuation, Commissioner of Building and Property Management in DBKL.

Sr Haji Adzman Shah bin Mohd Ariffin

MIPFM President 2019 - 2021

Sr Adzman Shah is a CEO/Chief Real Estate Consultant at ExaStrata Solutions Sdn Bhd. Sr Adzman graduated in Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom in Urban Estate Management. He is a Registered Property Manager under BOVAEAP and also a Professional Associate under the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (United Kingdom) and a Fellow of RISM and MIPFM. He has received awards in 2011 for ‘Eminent Contribution in the Field of Property Management in Malaysia’ and in 2016, ‘Country Major Property Manager’ by BOVAEAP and has received the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ from Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) in 2017.

Sr Faizal bin Fuad

MIPFM President from 1st December 2018 - 2019

Sr Faizal Fuad is an Associate Professor in UCSI University since 2018. Previously he was a Head of Centre for Real Estate Studies, Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Surveying in UiTM. Sr Faizal graduated MSc in Land Administration and Development from University of Technology Malaysia (UTM). His expertise is in Property valuation, Land Administration and Development; Property Management and Real Estate Agency. He is a Registered Valuer, Property Manager and Estate Agent. 

Sr Sarkunan Subramaniam

MIPFM President 2015 - 1st December 2018

Sr Sarkunan (Sarky) has been in the property consultancy industry for 34 years since 1986. A predominant part of his career has been in valuations and research, conducting corporate valuations and litigation based valuations as an expert witness as well as market and feasibility studies for development consultancy. His foray into the corporate agency and investment sales for the last 8 years culminated into several notable cross-border commercial deals for Malaysian sovereign funds and sizeable relocations of prominent multinational companies (MNCs). In 2013, Sarky took on the role of Managing Director of Knight Frank Malaysia where to-date his role includes overseeing the full spectrum of service lines in the firm which consists of the KL HQ and respective Johor, Penang and Sabah branches. MIPPM name was changed to MIPFM since 2018 with the spirit of the President and its committee to include Facility in Property Managers.

YBhg Datuk Sr Kamalul Arifin bin Othman

MIPPM President 2011 - 2012

Datuk Sr Kamalul Arifin served as the first President of the Malaysian Institute of Professional Property Managers (previously known as MAPPM). Datuk Kamalul Arifin bin Othman was appointed as a Member of PR1MA Corporation on 23 October 2020. He was firstly appointed as the Member of PR1MA Corporation on 10 May 2016 and was reappointed as the member on 10 May 2018 until his tenure expired on 9 May 2020. He was the Group Managing Director cum Chief Executive Officer of Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad (PHB) and is also a Chartered Surveyor by training with extensive experience in the real estate sector. Datuk Kamalul Arifin holds a Bachelor of Estate Management (Honours) from Universiti Teknologi MARA and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Ohio University, Athens, United States of America. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom, Fellow of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia and Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Property and Facility Managers (MIPFM). He is also a Registered Property Manager with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers. He completed his leadership education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University and the SAID Business School, University of Oxford.
